Fetch Labs is a research organization within Fetch Technologies that works with a variety of government and commercial organizations. Our government sponsors include the Department of Defense (DARPA, Air Force, Navy, and other agencies), NASA, NSF and DOE. This funding enables Fetch to continue pushing the frontiers of information extraction, information integration and data analytics. The staff at Fetch Labs is internationally recognized, actively published in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and the Machine Learning Journal, and speaks at conferences throughout the world.
Areas of Focus
| Information Extraction | Fetch Labs is developing the next generation of web extraction technology, including unsupervised algorithms for classifying web pages, inducing extraction rules, and inferring the data schema underlying web sites. These algorithms enable tens of thousands of agents to be automatically created and deployed. |
| Information Integration | The next generation of information products must be able to integrate, aggregate and normalize data. Fetch Labs is working on advanced technologies to integrate data from heterogeneous data sources and entity resolution at large scales. |
| Data Analytics | Massive amounts of information are useless without understanding what the data is about. Fetch Labs is working on applying various mining techniques such as trend analysis, social network analysis and dynamic network analysis to inform users of the structure, characteristics and nature of the data that we provide through our Fetch Live Access Platform. |
